Description

Moisture meter for determining the water content or the residual moisture content of textiles, fabrics, yarns, wool and many other products such as yarn spools, rolls of fabric, natural fabrics, synthetic fibers, wool, cotton, viscose, polyamide and many more.
The measuring device can be used for measurements in the production process as well as for finished products.

The water content of fabrics and yarns has a major impact on tear strength and elasticity. With the SLW moisture meter you can determine the water content within a few seconds and control and guarantee the quality of your products.

The device is also often used to check garments and textiles before packaging, for example in laundries, in order to prevent mould or odour development due to excessive moisture.

The measuring device shows the water content immediately as soon as the measuring tips touch the textile. Based on the characteristics stored in the device, the current water content of the selected material is shown on the display. A conversion using tables is therefore not necessary.
